Here's a clearly marked document showing the position of the offending uterine fibroids that my doctor is going to remove by means of a
laparoscopic myomectomy. Once the excess bagage is removed we can move on to the more important stuff and I'll hopefully be holding a baby at the end of it all, no matter how long it takes. Surgery is booked for the first of March and I guess by the end of April 2010 we'll know which way we're headed. When I started out on this journey my uterus was in reasonably good shape and I've watched it detereorate with every scan that has followed. I thought I had 2 uterine fibroids this morning and a scan at noon revealed the presence of a third one ( the more the merrier I hear you say!!!) I can't honestly say I was too pleased to find out about the bl***y fiboid! Well, let's look at it on the bright side, at least it will have to go with the others when they move house. Jenpen's comfy womb is making way for a baby, baby! Yeah!! IVF, here I come ( okay, I know I can only start talking seriously about it once the op is done but what the heck! I can let a little light shine through every now and again!
